Calling Statement

I will praise and honour Christ in all that I do. I will share the love of Jesus with everyone around me, doing so with gentleness and respect. I commit to being a disciple who disciples others as they discover a relationship with Christ. I desire for those searching to know the mystery, love, and goodness of God.

Being before Doing – I recognise the importance of being in a relationship with Christ and its impact on sustaining ministry.

Love – I want others to be seen, heard, respected, and loved, just as Christ modelled. I never want others to feel alone or marginalised.

Intentionality – I am intentional with my time for God, ministry, rest, reflection, and relationships.

Service – I am prayerful and mindful of service opportunities. I am selective in order to avoid becoming over scheduled.

Growth – I actively seek out learning and growth opportunities to avoid stagnation in my relationship with God and ministry.

Relationships – I remain open to new relationships and discipleship opportunities.

Self-Care – I am mindful of my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs and allow myself to rest.

Prayer – My life and ministry is rooted in prayer. Time spent in prayer is a priority.
